The Joker was many, many things.

Right now, thanks to the community, he was a drunken clown haphazardly throwing dirty old sheets over a bloodstained couch. After all, drunk or not he knew that Lisa probably - just probably - wouldn't enjoy sitting on or near blood. So, he'd hide it, even if that meant stumbling to and from rooms to get cleaner sheets - so that's where his feet went - just to make a better impression. The fact that it looked strange and out of place didn't really register to him.

And besides, there was a good chance she wouldn't show. After all, the community had seemed so very, very against it. Oh well, no loss.

"Too late. You should have thought about that before you asked me to come." Her glare was sharp and her voice was even sharper. After the fight she had gotten in with Clint and Tommy over coming here, she wasn't about to deal with the Joker's bullshit in stifling whatever assistance she could provide. "I'm asking you to do it for your own good."

Harvey wasn't sure what he expected to find- no blood and carnage like most would expect no, he knew better. If anything his concern would be for the woman's mind. That's how the Joker had started with Maggie- with lies. He nearly draw a hand over his face in frustration, figures Maggie's friend would be a trouble magnet as well.

When he reached the place he made no attempt at quiet, slamming the door open with a dark look until his eyes fell on the two figures, glancing only barely at Lisa before settling on the clown, gaze sharpening.

"You idiot." He muttered, taking the scene in though none of the tension left his shoulders.

"...Are you calling me an idiot or him?" Lisa asked, irritation in her voice, without thinking. Though, she had to admit, it was probably a strange sight to happen upon - clean, prim Lisa with Joker in his messy, decrepit apartment.

Harvey stared just a moment before letting out a frustrated sigh, moving forward and roughly shoving the Joker back onto the couch. "He's the idiot." He answered, turning his hard gaze to Lisa. "And so are you for coming here."

He looked back to Joker. "After Ed you do this? What, need to move again now?" his tone turned more irate than genuinely wrathful, glancing at the sheets and coverings. Idiots.

"After Ed-- You mean Eddie?" She suddenly looked very interested in their conversation, whereas Joker's childish antics had left her unimpressed. "What did he do?"

"You fucking idiot." Harvey growled, ignoring Lisa again in favor of looking the Joker's state over- hell he really was drunk. He didn't bother stifling a sigh this time, nearly rubbing his temple.

"No scotch." He muttered, looking at Lisa again. "Wasn't him who did it, though he'd probably do worse now." He said, and it was the truth. She wasn't getting any more than that. "Why are you here?"

"I was here to make sure he was okay. I didn't want him to hurt himself." It sounded ridiculous now that she was actually explaining it to Harvey. She bit her lip. "He asked me to come over. I thought he might have... needed something." Lisa crossed her arms over her chest defensively, sighing, shaking her head. "I don't know. I'll... leave."

God it was like dealing with grade schoolers today. He watched her a moment- idiot, why would she come here? It was the illogical mindset of good samaritans. He knew it well enough.

"When you leave you're not coming back." He said, not quite as sharp, more just irate and tired, completely ignoring the Joker. "For your own good Reisert."

She was quiet for a minute longer, wondering how much more she'd have to withstand scolding for her decision to come here tonight. With one quick glance to the corner of the room to gather her thoughts, she looked back up to meet Harvey's gaze and did her best not to show any visible flinch back. It was worse to see in person.

"Lisa. My name is Lisa. And, if you don't want me here, maybe you should talk about making a guest list or something." Because, I was invited."

Harvey's glare sharpened instantly, predictably, stepping forward and grabbing the other man by the front of his shirt.

"Watch your mouth." He snapped.

Suddenly, Lisa was very confused and felt a little out of place. She didn't understand the shift in conversation or the reason that Harvey suddenly looked much more unpleasant than he had been a moment ago.

"I should probably leave, though. Harvey's right. Clint and Tommy--" were worried. Were off-the-wall frustrated. And, she owed both a phone call.

His grip tightened on the Joker's shirt, apparently unaffected by their guest's presence. It was almost formulaic, even now he couldn't turn the other cheek when he referenced her.

The little show only made his good eye narrow and he shoved the other back roughly, releasing him to hopefully fall over the couch. If he were luck he'd crack his head open on the floor.

"Oh, look. He let you go. I think you'll be okay." Lisa informed the Joker in a plain, unrestrained voice. All the same, she cast a glance in Harvey's direction - he'd better not take advantage of the situation and do something to hurt him while he was in this state. The look in her eyes was warning, matching with the firm line her lips had tightened into.

Harvey glanced over at the warning look, somewhere between amused and irritated. She didn't belong, the Joker should know that but he was useless like this.

"Because she doesn't belong here." he answered, still returning her look with a dry glance of his own. "And you don't deserve her company."

As flattering as this was, Lisa was about done with people thinking they had to look out for her - and telling Joker he didn't deserve her company was just that. She rolled her eyes a little more exaggeratedly than was probably necessary and threw her arms up in exasperation.

"Fine. I'm leaving already."

"Good stuff?" Harvey spat, temper flaring again. It didn't matter how true what he said may be, as disjointed as it was, what Harvey had said was the truth. The shove had been unexpected enough to push him a few steps back, though now he was back to his footing, tired sort of frustration in his glare. He didn't think as he threw a punch at the other, barely as harsh or powerful as it could be, more an irate retaliation after the events of the day had worn his already strained control.

"Don't you dare talk about ruining things." He shot back lowly.
